Zambia Railways Limited (ZRL) has won the 1st Prize under the Best Export Promotion category at the just ended Agriculture and Commercial Show in Lusaka. The 2nd Position went to the Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia.
And ZRL Ag. Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Fred Mwila is happy with the win and has since thanked all the staff for their efforts in securing the victory.
“This victory is for all of us. The win signifies ZRL’s strategic position and relevance in the economy as well as its contribution in providing logistics solutions to the major economic sectors such as Mining , Energy ,Agriculture and Manufacturing” said Eng. Mwila.
The six –day show was held under the theme: “Innovation through Technology; Technology Transforms Businesses”.
Barely a month ago, Zambia Railways Limited scooped the 1st Prize under the Best Exhibit- Transport and Allied Industries category at the Zambia International Trade Fair(ZITF) held in Ndola.
The Trade Fair was themed, “Promoting Value Addition for Sustainable Growth”.
The President of the Republic of Zambia Mr Hakainde Hichilema graced both exhibitions.
