DISSOLUTION OF KABWE WARRIORS FOOTBALL CLUB EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
KABWE, Zambia 16th April, 2025 – Zambia Railways Limited (ZRL) as the principal sponsor of Kabwe Warriors Football Club (KWFC), wishes to inform all stakeholders, supporters, and the general public that a decision has been made to dissolve the current Executive Committee of the Club with immediate effect.
This decision has been taken in line with our commitment to ensuring the effective management, accountability, performance, and long-term sustainability of the Club. We recognize the importance of strong leadership, team work and good governance in driving the success of Kabwe Warriors both on and off the pitch.
A new Executive Committee has since been appointed accordingly in the best interest of the Club, its players, supporters, and the broader Kabwe community.
We thank the outgoing Executive Committee for their service and contribution to the Club and wish them well in their future endeavors.
ZRL remains committed to the growth and success of Kabwe Warriors Football Club and will continue to provide the necessary support to ensure the Club maintains its status in Zambian football.
ABOUT KABWE WARRIORS FOOTBALL CLUB
Kabwe Warriors Football Club (KWFC) is a Zambian professional football Club based in Kabwe that plays in the Zambian Premier League. The Club plays home games at Railways Stadium also known as Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu Stadium in Kabwe.
The Club is sponsored by Zambia Railways Limited as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility KWFC is a five- time Super League Champion of Zambia and has 19 trophies in total.
The club was founded as Broken Hill United but changed its name to Kabwe Warriors in 1966.
