APPOINTMENT OF NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE FOR KABWE WARRIORS FOOTBALL CLUB
Kabwe, Zambia April 18, 2025 – Zambia Railways Limited (ZRL), the main sponsor of Kabwe Warriors Football Club (KWFC), is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Executive Committee to lead and steer the affairs of the Club .
Following a thorough selection process, ZRL has appointed a dynamic and capable Executive Committee to steer KWFC’s strategic and operational objectives.
The Committee composition and roles are as follows:
- Clyde Muleya – Chairperson
- Jason Mulaisho – Vice Chairperson
- Evans Twaambo – Secretary
- Christabel N. Reinke – Vice Secretary
- Augustine Simukoko – Treasurer
- Darpan Desai – Business Development
- Alpha Mwale – Infrastructure
- Zaccheaus Musonda – Legal Affairs
- Justine Sikwatwi – Technical
- Brian Ngoma – Youth and Women ‘s Affairs
The new Executive Committee each selected for their passion for football and proven ability to drive administrative success, is mandated to strengthen the Club’s governance, elevate player and fan engagement, and ensure sustainable growth for the Club. Their immediate focus will be to support the team’s ambitions for the 2024/25 season, including a strong performance in the Zambian Super League. We wish them every success in their new roles.
ZRL calls upon the new leadership to pursue strategies aimed at making the Club commercially viable and self-sustaining. While we remain committed to supporting the Club, we recognize the need for the Club to create revenue generating initiatives as well as transition towards a commercially viable enterprise.
ZRL extends its heartfelt appreciation to the outgoing Executive Committee for their dedication and contributions to KWFC’s success. We are confident that the new leadership will build on this foundation and lead the Club to new heights with the support of its passionate players, fans and the community at large.
