NOTICE OF SHORTLIST FOR THE TENDER FOR THE REHABILITATION OF ZRL OWNED LOCOMOTIVES WITH FINANCING.

  1. As part of its 2024–2028 Strategic Business Plan, Zambia Railways Limited (ZRL) aims to increase average mainline locomotive availability from four (4) to thirteen (13) by 31st December 2028. In line with this objective, the 2025 Procurement Plan includes the commencement of rehabilitation for six (6) of ZRL’s own locomotives.
  2. Limited Bidding is the method of Procurement to be used in accordance with section 42(2) (a) of the Public                 Procurement Act No. 08 of 2020, due to the specialised nature of the requirement.
  3. The following is the proposed shortlist of bidders for this tender.
