Resumption of Passenger Train Services
Zambia Railways Limited (ZRL) is pleased to announce that passenger train services between Livingstone and Kitwe will resume operations starting tomorrow 28th April 2025.
The passenger train will depart from Livingstone enroute to Kitwe at 20:00hrs.
The passenger train services were temporarily suspended due to a goods train derailment that occurred on Monday 21st April 2015 between Zimba and Bowood Section in Southern Province.
ZRL would like to thank its esteemed customers and other stakeholders for the patience and understanding during the suspension period.
