ZRL AIDS EX- EMPLOYEE WITH WHEELCHAIR

As a good corporate citizen, Zambia Railways Limited (ZRL) donated a wheelchair to its former employee Charles Chiputa, of Kabwe’s Katondo area who is physically challenged.
The donation was made to help him with mobility for both indoor and outdoor purposes.
During the handover, ZRL Ag. Managing Director Fred Mwila echoed the company’s commitment in implementing corporate social responsibility activities in communities along the line of rail.
Meanwhile, Katondo Ward Councillor Charles Chileshe thanked ZRL for the kind gesture that will go a long way in promoting mobility and enhancing the quality of life for Mr. Chiputa.
Mr. Chileshe praised ZRL as an- all- weather partner in rendering support to the community and supplementing Government efforts in addressing different challenges in the communities.
And the beneficiary, Mr. Chiputa has thanked ZRL for the assistance in addressing his mobility challenges.
Mr. Chiputa worked for Zambia Railways Limited under Technical Services before leaving employment in 2000.
